I am SO glad you are here! I have such an immense passion for capturing moments of extraordinary lives! I can't wait to get to know more about you and chat more about how blkPhotography can make your wedding day even more flawless!

Hey y’all! I am Brittany, the photographer behind the dream team that is blkPhotography. I will be celebrating 15 years of business in 2024! I started this journey as a sophomore in high school with a love for capturing moments and memories, because they are SO important. I’ve grown throughout the years of weddings + portrait sessions and come to adore this “job” of creating and curating memories for my clients. It’s a passion I pursue every single day.

I am based in (and born and raised in!) good ole St. Louie but I travel all over photographing one of the best days of people’s lives; creating bright, true to life images of their forever. Traveling for weddings have been such a blessing that I definitely don’t take for granted. From Missouri to Florida, Tennessee to Maryland, Colorado to Utah and so much more, seeing the world through my couples is my favorite ever. I love having clients who’ve turned into friends from all over the country!

ENGAGEMENT SESSION

I am a detail-holic! I believe all the little details of a wedding day really pull the story together and make it that much more memorable. My favorites are the unique things that really show your personalities. I always recommend all my brides to provide an invitation suite for detail pictures, it's one of my favorite shots!
